HOW YOU CAN VISIT CANADA

Visitor Visa
A visitor visa (also called a temporary resident visa (TRV) is an official document issued by a Canadian visa office that is placed in your passport to show that you have met the requirements for admission to Canada as a temporary resident (either as a visitor, a student, or a worker).
Individuals who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada may require a visa to enter Canada.
If you do not require a visa to enter Canada, you may require an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).
Requirements for a visitor visa include:
-
have a valid travel document like a passport;
-
be medically admissible;
-
be criminally admissible with no criminal or immigration-related convictions;
-
demonstrate you have ties to your home country that will ensure you will return home such as a job, home, financial assets or family;
-
demonstrate you have the financial resource to support your stay in Canada;
-
a letter of invitation from someone who lives in Canada will assist in supporting your application.
